" A fellow alpha member received an invitation to a Sony DSLR press event in Hong Kong.

Invitation roughly translated as below…

And to STJ: I would tend to agree with you on a certain level but I think it's pretty clear that, for the money, the A900 offers quite a bit more value for the dollar. The D3X is simply not worth anything more than, POSSIBLY, $5999. Period. I don't care how much Sony is charging for that sensor. Disagree. The viewfinder was much brighter than any other from Canon/Nikon. I still prefer the viewfinder of my Pentax 67ii tho.. It may not have the ISO 3200 output of either company but for $5k less I find that to be far more exciting than either the D3x or the 1DsMkIII... and that's on an existing model.
