AF is for sports stuff. I've used it just once on my 5D2 (for a snapshot of a cat *g*). It's far too unreliable and causes lack of control. They are a long time lens supplier for Sonys cameras, and have a good range of AF lenses, prime and zoom, for the Sony SLR line.
