Sorry about the typo above - "reduce" should read "produce". Beware excessive multi-tasking. ;)

Olympus said from the start that they're aimed at different markets. The E-P1 is still good for the consumer market. This is a slightly higher priced model with features that pros and more serious amateurs demand and are willing to pay a higher price for. They're not expecting all the E-P1 buyers to rush out and upgrade. Try to think outside of the normal new model = upgrade model and get your head around different members of the E-P family for different users. They may well reduce a smaller version as well which would sacrifice some features for a smaller size for those that place a high importance on compact pocketability.

only adding 2 optional accessories that probably not for everyone, 2 art filters and improvement on lcd screen and black color won't cut it.

people are waiting for faster Auto Focus performance. Let's wait for the field test. If there is no improvement in this part, then it is just E-P1 in different skin.

For me the EP-2 is a Non-Event. They should have gotten it right in the previous EP-1. I have respect for Olympus, and had some of their early digitals. I still have one of them. I loved the styling of the EP-1, but as a release it was a bust.
