I’m excited to see what kind of Camera Ricoh will bring out!
I think we can be in the midst of innovation if Ricoh impresses. There’s been a certain snobbery to RFs (now digital) for too long with 4/3 coming into the equation but not impressing yet, although, I’m not surprised, but it’s definitely good news for photography in general.

It could be any digital camera, which makes sense because Ricoh dabbles in Point&Shoots. No mention of DSLR is made.

Even better, Docomo’s new phones for this season are also going to be announced!!

you have a feeling that it will be better than everything else on the market today.

in that case consider becoming ricohrumor instead of photorumor, Mr Adminigator.
according to rumors it appears that ricoh wanted this camera to be small no matter what compromises were needed to achieve that, and in photogrphy when you make one thing your absolute priority you get what you want but you lose most of the rest including the (big) picture itself. it is rumored the camera will have a prime and zoom, with the prime you can use the whole sensor with the zoom you can use only a crop (possibly same size as 1/1.7″ sensor), my excitement has already gone presuming this is true.

It actually just says, Ricoh & Digital Camera. The kanji for this is to small… but comparing it to the NTTdocomo one right below I’m pretty sure it’s not saying what kind at all. Just that it’s a new one. They making a mobile phone?!?! Don’t think i’ve ever seen a ricoh branded mobile between au/softbank/docomo. Thats the line below…
