Cause it’s old rule – if people see the picture they are more willing to believe… even if it turns out the picture was a fake.

The EP2 had an incredible number of fake pictures but the camera and some of its rumored specs b4 the announcement turned out to be true.

if sony is joining the video – game, this will certainly hurt nikon & canon. with some great carl zeiss primes, this will affect leica also.

That’s a joke to me but not a joke to Sony. I own R1, and think that it might the best camera design at the age it being created. The APS-C integration already gave a hints of mirrorless APS-C camera is possible in 4 years ago. I always wonder if Sony just didn’t acquire Konica Minolta but kept going on this system, of course, with interchangeble lenses afterward, the world of camera might not be the same.

Hope that Sony won’t be too late of joining the mirrorless party.
