As a matter of fact, I am still using the Pentax 6x7 and went there to ask about the potential for a digital version in a foreseeable future. This was entirely unsollicitated but the representatives were extremely affirmative about the appearance of a 4.5x6 camera by the beginning of 2010 : I had no more details but they were everything but vague about this. I want to see a real improvement in digital today, before buying any new product. medium format is surely an answer, but new sensor technology is even better.
