Two more Samsung cameras @ PMA

User Redcrow from dpreview (who has provided some valid info in the past) just wrote about two new Samsung cameras that will be shown @ PMA:

New WB1000 successor

  • New BSI image sensor (CMOS)
  • Full HD video recording
  • Sweep panorama feature loaded

A higher line camera (than WB series)

  • New 1/1.8" CMOS sensor
  • 24mm, 3x optical zoom. f1.8 lens
  • Swivel rear screen
  • It is the one I expected as LX3 killer

The WB1000 successor will be called WB2000 - it was previously leaked on Amazon.

    need to have f/1.4 to kill lx3

      The LX3 is f/2.0-2.8

    it won’t be able to kill the LX3 if it’s dimensions are any larger.
