It’d have to be seriously cheaper to be a real alternative. Cause now 90 f/2.8 isn’t expensive lens. And used one… these are very cheap

Those could be equivalent 24×36 focal lengths. Otherwise I agree the standard zoom range and ratio doesn’t look very up-to-date.

For what other mounts concerns, I guess that if Tamron targets NEX and Samsung cameras, they may release an m4/3 version later but not a Nikon or Canon mount version. The whole point of making specific versions for those compact systems is to make lighter and more compact lenses.

24-50 for aps-c?? 17-50 2.8 would make more sense.

Just a question for clarification: Are these lenses rumored to be introduced only for Sony’s and Samsung’s mirrorless cameras or for other mounts (e.g. Nikon F-Mount) as well.
The 90mm f3.5 lens could be a very interesting portrait and macro lens if it would be cheaper than the current Tamron 90mm f2.8.

24-50mm F3.5-5.6 = 36-75mm equiv (2X)
75-200mm F4.5-6.3 = 105-300mm equiv (2.6X)
90mm = 135mm

Very strange focal, but they must be very compact. I only also hope a wide angle zoom.
