Fujifilm released new firmware updates for the 18mm f/2, 35mm f/1.4 and 60mm f/2.4 XF lenses. The new Fujifilm X-E1 mirrorless camera and 14mm f/2.8 XF lens are expected to start shipping in the US on November 9-10, 2012.

Yasuhara Madoka 180 Fisheye lens for Sony E-mount now available in the US (click on "more images" for some samples).

Fujifilm Reala 100 in 120 format is now discontinued (still available on Amazon).

Canon reported their Q3/2012 earnings: revenue is down 13 percent to $10.3 billion compared to Q3 last year, profit is down by 42 percent.
