The Sigma 17-70mm 2.8-4 came out about a year or two ago, this is not a good sign for Sigma…

Why is this not a good thing? It was discontinued because they just replaced it, and launched a whole brand new 3-line system for their lenses. It’s a good thing.

The loss of FujiFilm 120 films is to be expected

Sad but true. Fujifilm are a great company. It was the juxtaposition of the new innovative products they are releasing in the digital market (I am very keen on the new x series and intend to buy and xpro 1) and the winding back of their wonderful films. I still like shooting film especially medium format and it is sad to see Reala go. I just shot a 220 roll of Reala (bought in Japan) and a 120 roll of velvia 100 in my fuji GA645zi today. I think Reala 35mm was ceased some time ago.
