Some updates on the upcoming Tiny1 camera specifically designed for astrophotography from TinyMos:

Indiegogo Campaign Updates

We had plans to launch our campaign in November, but it looks like we will have to push it back (Q1 2016) for a hardware upgrade. Our imaging processor in the camera was not performing to the high standard that we desired, so we're putting in a new processor to better your experience when you use the camera. With this processor, you will be able to capture 60 frames per second in RAW format at QHD resolution for planetary, lunar, and solar imaging.

Will the price of the Tiny1 go up because of this new processor?

Nope. Instead, the price will be reduced! Hooray!

How does that happen?

With this processor, our supplier is able to provide it to us at a better rate than the other processor. As such, you can expect that there will be a reduction in the launch price, which we estimate to be about 10% lower than previously planned.

Also, we are working to fix the spherical aberration found in our wide angle lens.
