    Epson R-D1

    In an interview with AP, Rob Clark (executive director of Epson Europe Marketing Division) stated that Epson is working on various new digital camera technologies that could bring a new version of the R-D1. The exact quote was: "whether we come out with another version of the R-D1 is a possibility".

    The Epson R-D1 was the world's first digital rangefinder camera and was introduced back in 2004.

    In addition to the AP report, I received some information that a new version of R-D1 is exactly what Epson has in mind and they openly talked about it at a recent photography event.
