Samsung 85mm f/1.4 ED SSA lens caught in the wild, to be released in July/August
A beta tester was spotted with the new Samsung 85mm f/1.4 ED SSA lens in Korea. Here is a brief description of the lens given by the tester:
- very fast AF motor, similar to the speed of Olympus E-3 with 14-54mm lens under daylight
- no chromatic aberration noticeable on the display with maximum magnification
- the lens is at its final testing phase
- the lens is expected to be released in July/August of 2011
- the price is yet to be determined
The Samsung 85mm f/1.4 ED SSA is one of five new NX lenses announced by Samsung in February of 2011.
