Tamron 35mm F1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens patent

Tamron filed a patent in Japan (2013-83783) for a 35mm f/1.4 APS-C mirrorless lens (50mm equivalent in full frame). Few months ago the company also filed a patent for a new 50mm f/1.8 APS-C lens. Currently Tamron has only two zoom lenses for mirrorless cameras: 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III VC for Sony E mount and 14-150mm F/3.5-5.8 Di III VC for Micro Four Thirds.

And two new Canon patents - the first one (2013-77910) is for lens image stabilization designed to automatically track celestial objects. FYI: last year Canon announced the EOS 60Da DSLR camera tailored to astronomy enthusiasts.
