2017 Sigma price increase in Europe, list of discontinued Sigma lenses
Recently I received a report from a reader on the Sigma lens price in Europe I reported about a few months ago:
It seems this Monday, Sigma prices are finally slowly updating, two shops did so already. But the first price increase isn't all that bad, and that some lenses even got cheaper it seems! Some shops have the 35mm and 50mm Art and the 24-105 zoom prices updated (those got the biggest increase), but this is not the case with all stores:
- Sigma 35mm art, 749 euro to 799 euro.
- Sigma 50mm Art, 799 to 859 euro
- Sigma 24-105 OS art, 769 to 859 euro
- Sigma 20mm art 899 to 939 euro
- Sigma 24mm 899 euro, to 849/799 euro
- 85mm Art, status quo 1249 euro
- 150-600mm (both) status quo (1599 sport)
- 50-100mm art, 1099 to 1199 euro
- Sigma 18-35mm art 729 to 799 euro
- Sigma 24-35mm art 1099 to 999 euro
- Sigma 120-300mm, status quo 2999 euro.
The following Sigma lenses are listed as discontinued on their website:
- 70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro
- 50mm F2.8 EX DG Macro
- 85mm F1.4 EX DG HSM
- 24-70mm F2.8 IF EX DG HSM
- 120-300mm F2.8 EX DG OS APO HSM
