Sigma has a new patent P2018-189733A for 12mm f/2.8 full-frame lens:

Sigma has a patent for two new Micro Four Thirds lenses: 14mm f/1.2 and 35mm f/1.2:

  • Focal length: 13.92 mm
  • F No.: 1.28
  • 2ω: 81.14
  • Image height: 10.82 mm
  • Lens length; 105.02 mm

and:

  • Focal length: 34.98 mm
  • F No.: 1.28
  • 2ω: 33.12
  • Image height: 10.82 mm
  • Lens length; 110.14 mm


Sigma filed a patent P2018-101132A for anti-reflection lens coating using mesoporous silica similar to Nikon's Nano Crystal Coat and Canon's "Air Sphere Coating".
