The Shvabe holding of the Rostec State Corporation demonstrated a line of photographic lenses for portrait photography that has no analogues in Russia at the international industrial exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg. One of the new products allows you to achieve a unique effect - twisted bokeh without violating the original frame proportions and maintaining high image clarity.

Visitors to the exposition of the joint stand of Rostec are presented with mechanical portrait lenses with manual aperture adjustment - TAIR-45 and Rubinar from the Lytkarino Optical Glass Plant (LZOS) of the Shvabe holding. Both novelties are adapted for installation on cameras with M42 thread.

The first model with a focal length of 95 mm and aperture of f/2.3 provides a unique twisted bokeh - a special blurred background while maintaining the proportions of the original frame and the clarity of the contours of the foreground. This effect makes the final image look like no other and creates a special feeling from the photo. The lens was developed on the basis of the optical scheme of the legendary optician David Volosov, who created video lenses for the Ostankino television center and the orientation system of the Soviet spacecraft Lunokhod.

“Shvabe products are famous equipment, the quality of which is appreciated not only in Russia, but also abroad. Since the times of the USSR, more than 15 million lenses of various classes and purposes have been produced at the production sites that are now part of the holding for professionals and photography enthusiasts around the world. A fresh example is the new blockbuster Batman, some of the scenes of which were filmed with classic lenses produced by our holding,” said Oleg Yevtushenko , Executive Director of Rostec .

The second novelty with a focal length of 100 mm and f/2 aperture helps to achieve high frame contrast, but with soft color tones. The model has no domestic counterparts and also allows you to get the bokeh effect, but already classic, in the form of regular and even highlights. Among the additional advantages of Rubinar is a compact size and an affordable price for this product segment.

“Thanks to modern technologies of casting and glass processing, it was possible to create optics of a qualitatively new level. At the same time, we focused on the artistic component. Due to the original optical scheme in the new products, it was possible to achieve a unique effect of a blurred background, which is especially appreciated in a creative environment. This technique is often used when creating portrait shots. Our lenses are perfect for these formats, but their use is not limited to this, ”said Alexander Ignatov , General Director of LZOS .

In addition to new photographic lenses from Lytkarino, the products of the Shvabe holding, presented at the joint stand of the Rostec State Corporation, include Zenit photographic optics - the Zenitar 2.8 / 60EA and Selena 1.9 / 58 models, as well as a smart metal detector, thermal imagers, a concentrator oxygen and other optical and optoelectronic developments.
