A quote from BCN Ranking:

"The interchangeable lens market itself is booming. After March 2021, the market will recover at a pace that is roughly the same as or higher than the previous year. In particular, the sales amount has maintained double-digit growth for 16 consecutive months since November 2009. Even in the past year, the number of units sold in October last year increased by 123.0% compared to the previous year, and the amount increased by 140.2%. This February, the number of units sold was 119.2%, and the sales amount was 117.3%, maintaining double-digit growth. Smartphone (smartphone) and cameraThe first difference is lens exchange. One of the great pleasures of an interchangeable-lens camera is that you can change the lens to your liking and enjoy shooting. Cameras with interchangeable lenses are gaining in popularity in search of something that smartphones do not have, and the interchangeable lens market is booming." (via BCN Ranking)

BCN Ranking collects real sales data from approximately 40% of the Japanese retailers – this is not a worldwide market share report. Digicame-info also mentioned that the lens share data is impacted by the fact that Nikon and Canon still have a close mount standard:

"Fujifilm's X-mount standards are open to the public, but Canon and Nikon's mount standards are private. As a result, the variety of mirrorless lenses has not expanded, and the market share by mount has also been sluggish. Isn't it time for camera manufacturers to think about releasing strategic mount standards?"
