Some fresh Samsung NX rumors

This is an update to my last post on the new products Samsung is expected to announce at Photokina:

  • Samsung will announces new NX and compact cameras at Photokina.
  • Two or three new lenses will be announced: 12-24mm f/4 VCM (with iFn) and maybe a new 30mm f/2 version II (also with iFn function).
  • The recently announced 16-80mm lens has been cancelled and Samsung is working on a substitute that will probably be announced with the other new NX lenses.
  • Samsung is also working on three new prime lenses similar to the 85mm f/1.4 ED SSA with mechanical AF-coupled ring but they will not be announced this year.
  • Two new compact camera will be announced - the TL500/EX1 replacement will be one of them.
  • Samsung will also show a new camera-phone concept from the new Galaxy Camera line.

Pentax to announce another rugged model and a new 360 degree digital camera

In addition to the 645D replacement, another DSLR and a third mirrorless solution (after the Q and K-01), Pentax is also planning to announce an updated ultra-rugged WG camera and a completely new 360 degree digital camera - probably something similar to this Tamaggo 360° imager. The Pentax WG-2 was the last rugged, waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and sh*tproof camera announced in February, 2012.

Adobe Lightroom 4.1 released with X-Pro1, D800, 5D Mk3 and E-M5 support

Adobe released Lightroom v4.1 with added support for Fuji X-Pro1, Canon EOS 5D MkII, Nikon D800 and Olympus OM-D E-M5. Mac users can download the new version here.

Adobe also released new versions of ACR 7.1 (Windows | Mac) and DNG Converter 7.1 (Windows | Mac). New lens profiles were added for the following lenses:
