The Fuji x100 US price of $1,199.00 is now confirmed by Adorama and I was just able to pre-order mine - this camera will be back ordered for months, if you are planning on buying one, Adorama is currently the only major retailer in the US that is taking pre-orders:
The Fuji x100 is expected to start shipping in March, 2011.
