Panasonic DMC-GX8 MFT mirrorless camera: pictures and specifications
In the next 48 hours Panasonic will announce their latest DMC-GX8 Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera (the GX7 is already discontinued). Here are the expected specifications:
- 20 MP sensor
- New dual IS (image stabilization)
- Tiltable 2.36 million dots organic EL EVF
- Dust and splash proof
- Magnesium alloy body
- 4K video
- Tiltable 1.04 million dots organic EL screen
- Wi-Fi , NFC, QR code connection (just like the Leica Q)
- Continuous shooting: 8 fps with AF tracking
- Available in black and silver
The big upgrade seems to be the new 20MP sensor. The manufacturer is not know yet, but Sony recently released a new 20MP sensor for MFT:
