2016 Canon and Nikon rumors
CanonRumors published a list of expected/rumored camera and lenses for 2016:

For comparison, here are the rumored/expected Nikon products for 2016:
- Nikon D5
- Nikon Wireless Transmitter WT-6 & Nikon Speedlight SB-5000
- Three new Nikon compact cameras with 1″ sensor and different focal lengths
- Three new Nikon extreme/action cameras
- Replacements for the S33 and S9900 Coolpix compact cameras (Coolpix A10 & A100?)
- New photo sharing app
- Full frame Nikon mirrorless camera (I still do not have any details or reliable information)
- New “Df-like” camera (most likely in 2017)
- E and/or FL refresh for all Nikkor tele lenses - this is more of a long term goal and it will take few years until Nikon replaces all mentioned lenses.
