Canon's 120MP sensor was initially announced in 2010 and was on display at the 2015 CP+ show. At the 2016 Shanghai Canon Expo, the company had a camera with a 120MP sensor on display. Sone interesting observations:
- The camera housing is identical to the EOS 5DS
- A RAW picture file with 13,248 x 8,832 resolution will be around 214.1 MB
- You can potentially use a standard lens as a Macro lens because of the incredible 120MP resolution
