The Japanese site Nokishita reports that Canon will soon announce a new PowerShot G 9 X Mark II compact camera that will be available in black and silver. The official announcement will most likely be in early January 2017 during the CES show in Las Vegas. The current Canon PowerShot G 9 X model was announced in October last year and is currently on sale for $429.
