Today Sigma issued a press release announcing that the new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art ($949) and Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art ($1,199) lenses for Sony E-mount are already shipping.
The new Sigma 70mm f/2.8 DG Macro Art full frame lens will be priced at 69,000 yen (excluding tax). The lens will come with Sigma, Canon and Sony E mounts (no Nikon F-mount). Sample photos can be found here. The US price is $569. Pre-orders will opened shortly at Adorama and B&H.
The first prime macro lens to be adorned with the Art badge, will be available in Canon mount at the end of May. The Sigma mount model is expected to ship in June. The release of the Sony E-Mount version will be announced later.
