The Japanese website Nokishita reports that a new Canon EOS RP mirrorless camera could be announced next/soon. The report is based on a new Canon EG-E1 battery grip (SKU 3484C001) being registered overseas. The EG-E1 will be available in three different colors.
There are some unconfirmed reports that the Canon EOS RP will be an entry level mirrorless camera and will come with a 24-105mm kit lens.
Canon is rumored to be working on different mirrorless cameras: APS-C based mirrorless, 8k video version, PRO level mirrorless and 100MP sensor model.
