Updated information of M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC1.25x IS PRODevelopment on the high-resolution M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm f/4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO super telephoto zoom lens with built-in 1.25x teleconverter was announced in January 2019, and is currently moving toward the scheduled release of this winter. Furthermore, the final image design of the product is now available.
→ Development of future firmware upgrade to support bird detection AF:
Development of future firmware upgrade to support Bird detection AF Development is underway to add Bird detection to Intelligent Subject Detection AF on the Olympus OM-D E-M1X. The firmware is scheduled for release this winter.
→ Olympus released new webcam software for five OM-D models (beta version, for Windows only). OM-D Webcam Beta is compatible with the following camera models:
- E-M1X
- E-M1, E-M1 Mark II, E-M1 Mark III
- E-M5 Mark II
→ Olympus started a new promo in Europe.
The big question now is what will Panasonic do with their MTF product line after Olympus announced that they will sell their camera business.
