- The next Canon RF mount camera will be a full-frame model
- Canon EOS R1 is expected in 2023
- A high megapixel Canon EOS RF camera with 100+ megapixels is expected in the first half of 2023 (the announcement could be in 2022)
- Replacements for the Canon EOS R and Canon EOS RP models
