The previously rumored, new, and improved Yongnuo FE mount 85mm f/1.8S DF DSM autofocus lens for Sony E-mount is now officially announced and available for order at B&H Photo (the previous version was announced back in 2020). Here are the details:
- New lens design (straight barrel, no more red circle, more minimalist design)
- All-metal material construction (aluminum alloy)
- The mount is equipped with a rubber ring with enhanced water resistance
- Same optical formula
- Optimized coating
- Improved backlight performance
- Weight is reduced (385g)
