There were several reports that Samsung is about to announce a new compact camera with a fast f/1.8 lens and an 1/1.8″ image sensor (see all previous Samsung rumors here). This camera was labeled as the "Panasonic LX3 killer".
I think the camera in question is the fist model in the picture below (click on image to enlarge). The second model looks like a video cam, similar to the Kodak PlaySport. I don't have detailed specs or models names, but according to the previous rumors from dpreview the "LX3 killer" should have:
Expect an official announcement during PMA in the next few days.
