DxOMark published their test results for the Sony RX1 camera (see my first impressions) and they are pretty good – the RX1 scored #4 on their overall rating list right after the Nikon D800E, D800 and D600:

Sony a99 DxOMark score: not as good as the Nikon D600

DxOMark published their test results for the Sony a99 full frame camera. The a99 scored below the Nikon D600 and D800 cameras. DxOMark test score for the Canon EOS 6D is out

DxOMark published their test results for the Canon EOS 6D camera. The sensor performance of the 6D is almost identical to the 5D Mark III. The Nikon D600 still scored significantly higher then the 6D. From DxOMark conclusion:

DxOMark: Pentax K-5 II is currently the best APS-C camera

Canon EOS 1Dx gets DxOMarked, almost as good as the Nikon D3s

DxOMark released their test results for the Canon EOS 1Dx full frame DSLR camera ($6,799.00). The numbers show that Canon’s flagship model is almost as good as the Nikon D3s that was announced back in 2009:

DxOMark: today’s mobile phone image quality surpasses that of 2007 compact digital cameras

DxOMark will start measuring the camera image quality for cellphones, smartphones and digital tablets. The first test scored will be published in the next few weeks. DxOMark included also a interesting statistics in their press release: “Mobile image quality is now superior to that of 5-year-old compact cameras”:

Panasonic G5 and Sony NEX-F3 get their DxoMark scores

DxOMark Olympus OM-D E-M5 test results are out – the best MFT camera so far

DxOMark published their test results for the Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera. With an overall score of  71, the E-M5 takes the top rank for all Micro Four Thirds cameras. At Photokina Olympus announced the E-PL5 and E-PM2 which use the same sensor as the E-M5. The Panasonic GH3 is not tested yet.

DxOMark: Fuji X10 vs. Nikon P7100 vs. Canon G12

DxOMark just released their test results for the Fuji X10 camera ($599.95) and it seems that it outperforms both the Nikon P7100 ($499.95) and Canon G12 ($419.95). It will be interesting to see how the X10 will compare to the new G1X:
