New Zeiss Loxia wide and tele prime lenses coming in 2015

In a recent interview, Richard Schleuning from Carl Zeiss casually mentioned that new wide and tele prime lenses will be on market by the end of 2015. The new Loxia product line contains manual focus lenses designed for full frame mirrorless cameras like the Sony a7. Here is the video interview:

Sony/Zeiss and Mamiya rumored to release medium format digital rangefinder cameras

I got an interesting tip from a very good source: Sony/Zeiss and Mamiya will both release new digital medium format rangefinder-styled cameras in the next 12 months. Sony is already producing a medium format sensor used in the latest cameras from PhaseOne and Hasselblad. I do not have any additional information for now.

Zeiss has one more thing: Distagon 35/1.4 ZM lens (Leica M mount)

The previously rumored Zeiss Distagon 35/1.4 ZM lens is now listed on B&H website (obviously not a zoom lens). This lens was supposed to be announced during the last Photokina show in 2012.
