JK Imaging cannot come up with a new Kodak camera, so it copied the Sony QX10/QX100

At CES JK Imaging announced a new line of Kodak products… a new lens camera modules for smart phones, just like the Sony QX10/QX100. This new Pixpro camera automatically qualifies them for the 2014 worst camera of the year award. The press release:

Sakar showing their Kodak-branded Micro Four Thirds lenses at the PhotoPlus Expo

Kodak exits bankruptcy, now a “technology company serving imaging for business markets”

Well, they did it: today Kodak officially announced that they are exiting bankruptcy and will continue to exists as a “technology company serving imaging for business markets – including packaging, functional printing, graphic communications and professional services”.
