Samsung working on full-frame CMOS sensor for Pentax and Samsung DLSRs

This news is 2 weeks old - I have some catching up to do:

"Kyong-Kook Shin, assistant manager for Samsung's digital camera marketing planning group, suggested that the firm is actively pursuing development of a full-frame CMOS sensor intended for use in a professional camera."

This should be interesting. If Samsung got their act together and produced a FF sensor, and Pentax sold it for $1600US, they would probably get many buyers (probably myself included). It’s wishful thinking, but a sub $2000 FF camera (that’s not used) would be an amazing deal.

I read somewhere that Samsung and Pentax are not in good terms anymore.
