The return of Polaroid?

Few days ago Polaroid announced the availability of the Polaroid Two/Pogo Instant digital camera. Now Polaroid is coming with even bigger plans:

"A senior source at the US-based company said it is likely that the firm will launch a 6x4in version as part of its upcoming range of cameras that use existing Zink printing technology."

In addition to the 6x4in format, Polaroid is also interested in a 3x4in print size.

About Zink:

"ZINK™ stands for Zero Ink™ - an amazing new way to print in full color without the need for ink cartridges or ribbons. The ZINK Technology encompasses both the ZINK Paper™ and the intelligence embedded in every ZINK-enabled device. The technology enables a new category of color printing devices and paper that work as a system to print in a whole new way."
