Read the whole Voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 story here. The price should be around $1100, scheduled for shipment in June 2009. Btw, Tom Abrahamsson (the source) is well know and respected individual in the rangefinder community (inventor of RapidWinder) and I will believe his comment 100%.

    wow, its is kept nearly as short as the 50mm f/1.5 : 57.2mm vs 54,5 mm
