Update: ImagingInsider just reminded me that the expected Samsung announcement yesterday could have been delayed because of Michael Jackson's funeral.
Samsung GX30 did not get released yesterday and it seems that this rumor is busted for now. The interesting part is that I received multiple leads for that date - maybe Samsung changed their mind at the last moment. Based on the information I have, I still expect an announcement in the next few days.
