Coming soon: Samsung 85mm/f1.4 lens for K-mount

Several rumors are circulating online that Samsung is testing a new 85mm/f1.4 lens. You can see some spy shots here. There is a also a dpreview thread that translates slrclub's test shot of this lens.

    on http://www.ssdslr.com/bbs/zboard.php?id=bnewissue&no=6764 , first pic. what camera is the lens mounted on? it’s not a GX10/20, and it doesn’t look like a rebranded K-7 (no front wheel visible)….

    it’s not coming.
    it might be a release candidate.
    it’s mentioned it’s a product made for technological developement and there’s no intention for sales for now.

    zygh. whether samyang made the lens or not… manufacturers tend go for the most popular optical range and aperature. I think that’s just coincident.
    Everyone knows that nikkor and canon lenses come from totally different factory even tho they both are made in Japan.
    i highly doubt it’s samyang.
    if anything samsung camera department would take designs from pentax.
