September 1st is not going to be a exciting day because the 7D is probably going to cost $2,200 and up !
plus you will need the new lenses for the 18 mpx new censor it will cost you lot!!
SORRY I CHANGED MY MIND I M SALLIN MY D90 AND D300 AND LENSES FOR THAT CANON 7 D BUBYE§§§!!!!!!!!
I think the GF-1 is going to be the biggest announcement of the day. So far all the other stuff isn’t very appealing.
Exactly, because no one is going to be buying the 7D because of its price !
7d $1699
plus lenses and noise lol!!!
$1699 isn’t a for sure price, more likely $1999 for body only maybe
Personally. As a filmmaker/photographer. The 7d is the most appealing dslr of all time. Full manual controls, variable frame rates, audio input, and a 35mm (cinema size) sensor. If Canon released this without any photo abilities I would pick one up, but the fact that it’s going to take great quality images is a serious bonus. This is also coming from a die hard Nikon man. But the NIkon video end of things has been letting me down. We will see when the d700s is announced. All they need to do is add manual controls to their video mode and scrap motion jpeg and I will be sold. Especially on a d700 with the pixel density being so low.
that is all haha
The 7D has an APS-C (22.3 x 14.9 mm CMOS) sensor. That’s not what you mean by 35mm (cinema size), is it?
what makes the 7d better than the d5?
7D vs 5D?
Better is subjective. For video however, you have more options available to you for shooting. with the 7D
…and? Here it is already September 1st . Anything new?
