Again, who cares about Samsung,Kodak,Fujifilm, and Sony. They both make horrible cameras with ugly designs. Why not go with a Nikon D90 or a Canon..
Why, because they have pretty god deals price vs quality, that’s why!
I’m sorry, have you seen the new WX1 and TX1 from Sony? Sincerely powerful little cameras with superb designs. Touch screen done properly on the TX1 in particular. None of this Nikon half-assed-ness.
And Fuji often offers some of the finest color output of any manufacturer, so I wouldn’t count them out, either.
Kodak, well, they killed their market on their own. No one else to blame.
I would change my current smartphone for this, just to have a real camera with me at any time. Of course, given that it performs really well as a phone and adequately as a cam…
Chase Jarvis – Hasselblad Master, D90 Brochure and Video and Nikon Master. Now Samsung Phone Camera – wow. He’s everywhere.
no, I just made a connection between the new Samsung camera-phone and the idea of having a camera aways with you….
And the connection was very good I think, if man searches on the web he may find that a lot of grate pictures where taken with compact cameras and the reason I think is obvious – a DSLR may be very good, but also very big and heavy…
Whits this I don’t say we should trow our gear out of the window, but I think the nature + photographer does 1000 times more than a pro grade Canikon is a cloudy day.
oops …. sorry iPhone photo book. not samsung.
photorumor can sing but somsing about sansung.is not OK, they make product that sounds great on specs tables but when you use you realize it needs a lot of improvement. I have a plasma TV wide screen that’s great connectivity-wise but if you use for TV or to view my photo’s via a media player, the image quality sucks, as a PC monitor its great. also an ext HDD samsung works fine.
I respect Chase Jarvis for his work and everything but that book sounds like a iPhone advertisement.
well because it is iphone advertisement…
best camera is really the one that is with you, but most pros who actually care for occassional photography carry their P&S D300s with them
