The previously rumored Fuji cameras are the foreign versions of some of the models that will be released in the US. For example, the s2500 will be the s2550 in the US, the s1730 will be the s1800 and the s1600 and jx530 may not be released in the US.
But there will be more:
- Fuji will also announce the HS-10 camera (made in Indonesia, all other cameras will be made in China).
- Fuji is also expected to introducing a XP line of tough cameras, just like the Olympus Tough line.
- Another model will be the Fuji F-80 that will have a touchscreen and EXR sensor.
- Fuji z300 (with touchscreen) will also be introduced.
- Most of the cameras are expected to have Fujinon lenses.
The official announcement is expected on February 2nd, 2010.

Is the Z300 a typo? The Z300 came out last year/
My understanding is that the Z300 is not officially announced in the US:

I don’t understand the point of having the same model with different names in different parts of the world.
So the “no name” poster in the other news was right them….any specs from the F80, other than the touchscreen?….
Yes, he/she was correct. I am expecting more info in the next few days.
