Nothing here a D3X can do.

    Talk about diminishing gains.

    Move along..

This is interesting, Hassy CEO or whatever talked down at the Leica S2, and now produces this, I really don’t find this better in design to the S2 except maybe offering more MPs. The bulk that you carry is shrouded by marketing hype, bring in very respectful photogs and you think the camera is better and sells, sure hassys are good, but come on, after the talk down and seeing the H4D, this is all hype and substance is “just” another Had! Loyalists may buy, but I’m gonna say it… “Where’s the HD video in this?” (kidding)
Price wise, you come to expect this with MF cameras, but I see the prices converging and the technology growing, so in no time, Canons and Nikon will superceed this!

A bigger sensor will always be better, its physics m8

yes but it will also need bigger lenses, & so, very expensive lenses that have to be at the top of the technology.

….what’s your point, relative to what I said?

Better but not the manner you were thinking. It’s the pixel size not the sensor size that you’re thinking. Sensor size does contribute to shallow depth of field. That is the medium format look. It’s all dof and software. Really little to do with the “superiority” of their sensors, given the fact Nikon has superior technology in their sensors.

True Focus. lol. Still technically inferior to the lowest 35mm dslr.
