      If it is Nikon is going to have to push something out to compete. Im no depresed nikon shooter claiming nikon is miles behind but if Canon gets the Mrk4 out Nikon will have to release atleast one next generation camera (fingers crossed folks)

      I wonder if the mrk4 will draw the sports shooters away from the D3? a lot of them must still have canon bodies and lenses hanging around from the last oh lets say decade or so lolz

        The 1DsMk4 is not a sport shooters camera. It will be a high megapixel studio camera like the 1DsMk3 before it. Not even the D3X is meant as a sports camera. If canon unveils first that just means Nikon’s going to have something better later :)

    I think its going to be a 1Ds mark 4 with 30-32 mp. Nikon hurt Canon last go around now they are hitting back, starting with the 7D and 5D M2. This will put them in front with all categories.
