Today Panasonic announced the G2 and G10 additions to their Lumix line. A new Lumix G Vario 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S. image stabilized lens was also introduced.

Amazon has already listed the new models on their website but prices are not yet official (Panasonic announces prices 30 days before the product will start shipping).

    Im guessing this isn’t the official price @ £30,000 :P

        Sorry to treat this as a Q&A place…. but:

        Is there a usual time frame between announcements and release. I’m looking at an LX3, but fear if I make the jump, an LX4 will be announced. But, even if an “LX4″ is announced say on Thursday at CP+, would I be looking at a month or more till actual release.

    Anyone know the prices on these 2 new cameras? I have an interest in these more compact cameras that have sensors bigger than the point & shoots.
