In addition to the rumored update of the 80-400mm with VR lens, Tokina will also introduce a new 16-28 f/2.8 full frame lens this Fall (probably around Photokina). Tokina currently makes the most compact 80-400 lens (Tokina 80-400/4.5-5.6 AT-X 840 D) in the market and most of their lenses are made in Japan.

    I have been looking for their 11-16mm f2.8. There seem to be a worldwide shortage of this great wide angle lens now. Any idea whether Tokina has stopped production of this with something new coming soon??
