Great, more new stuff I can’t afford.
On one hand the high rez FF DSLR’s and on the other the Pentax 645d, with its DSLR inherited conveniences and his lack of panaché (allowing a much lower price point) will change the MF market.
The dinosaurs will need to adapt or go. Hassy, time to introduce a X-pan digital
they dont need to change much, people buy hasselblad for the same reason that people buy leica. If you just need a high res studio camera you could pay less and buy a mamiya, if you want the name you go blad.
Hasselblad has always been both excellent, and overpriced by 50%. I had one in the ’90s from an estate sale. I liked it, but it was really no better than a Pentax or Contax 645.
Well, except that the sync port didn’t somehow de-synchronize from the shutter. And the film transport mechanism was excellent. Lenses were about equal.
Try to shoot at 1/800 with a flash. Impossible without an Hasselblad. The HC lens are near the best. Better than older CF, CFE .
try to make a FPS …
If I need to make FPS I use a CanoNikon. If you need to shoot at 1/500 with a flash , what do you use ?
