This so isn’t true. Did Canon all of a sudden become king of the primes?

Nopes… they have always been ;-D

  • Alfons

    Can-not-be-true.

  • Inge-M.

If the is true, is the flattery for MFT .

  • John Bowen

    Nope, not happening.

  • Jose

    Fake.
22 Mpx on a MFT-like sensor would create ridiculous noise, rendering the ISO range useless from fairly low ISO.
On top of that, the list of primes would appeal to serious amateurs who do not give a dime about Mpx anyway. Too inconsistent to be credible.

People talk so much about looking beyond the MPs but that’s exactly what they do.

Having 22MPs in a mFT sized sensor doesn’t necessarily result in any more noise than a 10MP sensor of the same size… ask me why :D

No wonder. From the sales on the firsthalf of 2010 in Japan, Canon lost so much of market share(39.1% to 31.4%). Ironically Nikon didn’t have a good growth(31.3% to 34%). Panasonic (8.7% to 10.9%), Pentax (6.4% to 7.8%), & Olympus (6.6% to 7.7%) are coming up in a considerable rate.

Canon and Nikon will have trouble if they don’t have their own EVIL. Statistic showed that it is a extreme cheap model D3000 saved nikon’s market share (it did 7.9% from the total market!). But the tide of EVIL seems to be unstoppable. In Japan Canon did a great job to develop 7D & 5D2 win over the D300 & D700, but actually they won a small part of market with losing the big part.

could be the king of EVIL… only if ASP-H
otherwise it’s just tricks of CANON’s hucksters

dirty paws of canon’s marketers climb into pockets…
    money-money-money…

that is what current compact camera are missing 35-50mm equivalent with nice background separation. First to bring reasonable rangefinder with f1.4 and 1.2 primes in this range wins many pro photog’s hearts

Pure BS, I cannot believe that so many sites run this crap.
