Samyang announced the price and availability of the their latest 35 mm f/1,4 AS UMC lens: €389 (around $540) and it will start shipping in February 2011. They also published a MTF graph:
Samyang 8 mm f/3.5 Aspherical IF MC Fish-eye and Samyang 85 mm f/1.4 Aspherical IF MC lenses will also be available for Samsung NX mount.
In the US, Samyang products can be purchased on eBay.

Gr8 company , good lenses
a bit Expensive this time, Samyang ! While I was really ok for paying 250$ for the manual focus 85mm 1.4, 540$ is really high priced !!! I can get a Sigma 30mm 1.4 for less & a FF Sigma 50mm 1.4 HSM for the same price !
A bit more expensive than their other lenses, but stlightly cheaper than the 400€ they told me at Photokina. Who knows, once available, the web price could be even lower.
What is obvious looking at the lens prototype size and design, they are serious about getting great performances out of this lens. Interesting. Maybe they’ll come with fast 24 and 50mm next?
meh prices too expensive. not willing to pay that much for a 35mm.
540 is starting to get steep.
Those who complain about the price of this Samyang lens should remember that the new AF Nikkor 35mm f/1.4G will be priced at US $1800.
