The Pinwide is the worlds widest digital pinhole cap! Because the Micro 4/3 systems have no mirror, we were able to recess the cap into the body of the camera. This allows us to get a super wide angle of 11mm - equivalent of 22mm on a 35mm camera. This super wide angle creates a beautiful natural vignette.

The heart of Pinwide is its flawless pinhole aperture. Made with the same precision etching technology used to manufacture semicoductors, our perfectly round pinhole was selected after extensive testing to ensure the highest sharpness.

With the super wide focal length, vignette, and the precision pinhole aperture, you get the look and feel of traditional analog pinhole images. However, now you can see your images instantly.       So what? This is a pinhole, and it is *great*. Well done, great “focal length”. And with an extension tube (which might be used with other lenses for macro) the focal would be longer. I’d preorder it now, if I had a u43: must have!

        especially when strongest selling point is overall sharpness which on close inspection means it is not sharp anywhere.
        Well i can shoot with mobile phone to get overall sharp unsharp crappy pics

    40$ is a bad joke for a piece of plastic with a hole. Forget it. Im gonna build one myself with the cap that came with the camera.
