Micro Four Thirds adapter for EOS lenses

birger engineering logo Micro Four Thirds adapter for EOS lensesIn the next few weeks Birger Engineering will be releasing a Micro Four Thirds adapter with aperture control for EOS lenses. It is not clear yet if the adapter will also support AF (I contacted the company but did not get a response). The rumored price of $700 will make it a hard sell, but it is good to see that independent companies are working on different solution for m4/3.

For $700, it had better support AF!

$700 should be a low quantity start price, if it ever gets to be a commercial offering then the likes of Sigma should be able to get this down to $40 if there is no glass involved. It would have to be that cheap to work with the m4/3 market.
