According Diglloyd (paid subscription site) Zeiss will release a new 25mm f/2 Distagon lens (source):
"A new 25mm f/2 Distagon is coming that will likely behave more like the 21/2.8 Distagon."
Six months ago Sony released the Distagon T* 24mm F/2 ZA SSM lens and the new 25mm f/2 Distagon may have a similar design:

I searched the diglloyd wesite and there’s no mention of this quote listed. He did say in Novemeber that there is a 25/2 coming but nothing more.
I think he mentioned that in the paid subscription section.
Maybe Zeiss should be concentrating on putting out their f2 135mm or f 2.8 180mm Sonnar in ZF/ZE than just making their 25mm Distagon a stop faster.
On photo there is 28/2 lens, not 35/2
or it is for illustration only?
28/2 lens, not 25/2
the picture is just for illustration – those are the current f/2 models (see capture)
